Extra discription
Quizalofop is a systemic, post-emergence herbicide that acts as Lipid Synthesis Inhibitors. It specifically inhibits the enzyme acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase) in grass weeds, stopping fatty acid synthesis and destroying cell membranes, resulting in plant death at the growing points. It is a well-proven fop chemistry in soybean, arguably the most trusted graminicide in Indian soybean cultivation. Fomesafen is a PPO inhibitor, a class of herbicides that disrupt photosynthesis and create intense cellular membrane damage in broadleaf weeds, leading to rapid death within hours or days. They function by inhibiting the enzyme PPO, which is essential for chlorophyll and heme biosynthesis. It has better systemic movement and broader broadleaf spectrum.
