Lure/Dispenser must be placed in the fly trap lure holder and place the trap at various locations in the field. Traps should ideally be placed in shaded areas. Recommended to use one lure of Bactrocera cucurbitae per trap. Depending upon climatic conditions, One Bactrocera cucurbitae lure would last up to 60 days.

Lure is effective for 60 days.

This lure is used to attract the Melon fruit fly adults in many crops like cucumbers, gherkin gourds such as bottle, ridge, bitter, snake gourds etc., melons, pumpkins, watermelon, zucchini etc. for monitoring and mass trapping of the Melon fruit fly.
