Jayanti Rai from Putturu Taluka Kurunur Dakshin Kannada district she begin her farming with long duration crops like rubber and some other short duration crops-betel leaves. Her husband supports her for farming i.e arecanut, She uses oragnaic manure for planataion trees.Annualy she is earning 1-2 lakhs earning from betal leaves beacause of using organic manure, the betal leaves are having good market value. Every week Rs: 3000-4000 earns from beetal leaves and her kids also helping her in harvesting betal leaves. By doing betal leaves farming with her regular work she become role model for farming.
