Looking to the pink bollworm, farmers are advised to sell their harvested cotton in the market on having good amount prices. If you store the harvested cotton in a room/ store room constructed in field, there are all possibilities for continuing the life cycle of pink bollworm. On competition of life cycle and emerging adult moths will go back to the cotton field and infest our cotton plants, and create a problem. Or it is better to bring the harvested lot to home and store it in closed room/ store room. One pheromone trap should also be placed in store room to capture the emerging adults.
