Use Vermicompost Manure to Healthy and Strong Crop Growth!
The use of organic fertilisers is advantageous for enhanced crop growth and higher productivity. Keeping in mind the drawbacks of chemical fertilisers and the advantages of bio-fertilisers, it is time to provide organic fertilisers that can be produced in our own farms without any need for pure chemical fertilisers. With that, it's time to provide ready-made organic manure in our own farm. Therefore, make maximum use of vermicompost manure and cow dung._x000D_ _x000D_ Check before usage of Vermicompost Manure:_x000D_ _x000D_ • Small egg-shaped substance is observed on all crop residues._x000D_ • Vermicompost manure pH has in between 7. _x000D_ • The smell of Vermicompost manure is like that of soil sub-watering. _x000D_ • The manure colour is deep black._x000D_ _x000D_ Nitrogen: Carbon ratio is 15 to 20.1, The amount of nutrients in earthworm manure varies depending on the organic material used for the manure. As for manure, nitrogen, phosphorus and potash feed products, cow dung is about twice as much as granulation. Usually, earthworm manure is derived from crop residues; It contains Nitrogen 1.85, Phosphorus 0.65%, and Potash 1.30% and 35% to 42% organic matter. As a result, earthworm manure prepared from crop residues is outstanding organic manure for sugarcane cultivation and for an area of one hectare 5 tonnes of vermicompost manure is sufficient._x000D_ _x000D_ Benefits of Earthworms:_x000D_ • Improve soil fertility. _x000D_ • Makes qualified change in the soil structure. _x000D_ • Due to earthworm mounds, effective ploughing occurs without damaging the roots of the crops. _x000D_ • Increases water holding capacity in soil._x000D_ • It reduces soil erosion and evaporation from the soil. _x000D_ • Maintains soil pH at the appropriate level._x000D_ • Due to availability of high humus in earthworm manure, provides Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potash and other microorganisms to crops._x000D_ • There is a huge increase in the number of beneficial bacteria in the soil._x000D_ • It also helps in management of agricultural waste in the field._x000D_ Source: AgroStar Agronomy Centre of Excellence_x000D_
