This caterpillar can damage more than one tomato fruit. The infestation of this pest is more prevalent in the tomato crop near pigeon pea crop. If the damaged tomatoes are not disposed properly after harvesting, the infestation will get out of control. For control, spray chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC @ 3 ml or flubendiamide 20 WG @ 5 g or chlorantraniliprole 8.8% + thiamethoxam 17.5% SC @ 10 ml per 10 lit of water.
