This is the Tomato Fruit Sucking Moth
The larva of this moth feeds on skippers and weeds present in the field; and during the night, the moth sucks fruit juice by fruits . As a result, the skin of the fruit becomes smooth around the hole. Fungus and bacteria are enter through these holes and rotting arises. Fruits with minute pin-holes give an indication of this pest damage.
