Sulphur is Necessary for your Crops
• Sulphur is one of the most essential secondary elements for crops._x000D_ • It is also used as a fungicide and insecticide._x000D_ • Sulphur is important for crop growth and development as it plays a key role in_x000D_ the process of photosynthesis.
Benefits of Sulphur:_x000D_ • Sulphur increases the spiciness, oil content, smell, protein and_x000D_ sugar content and also improves the quality of the produce. Therefore, sulphur should be used_x000D_ in crops namely onion, turmeric, ginger, soybean, groundnut, sugarcane, and_x000D_ vegetables._x000D_ • Sulphur improves nutrient availability such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus,_x000D_ Ferrous, Zinc, and Boron._x000D_ • Sulphur is a heat source and can, therefore, be used to replenish the soil_x000D_ when excess moisture is present during the rainy season and enables the plant to_x000D_ grow strong._x000D_ _x000D_ Pests and Disease control:_x000D_ • To control Powdery Mildew and Red Mites, sulphur is sprayed onto the plant_x000D_ canopy.
