1. White grub is a devastating soil borne pest of sugarcane, maize, chilies and groundnut. 2. In the early season this pest can be managed by different methods, but in the month of August and September only chemical methods can help to control this pest. 3. AgroStar advised the farmer in this video to spray Fielder (Thiomethoxam 30% FS) @ 1 ml/lit to control the pest and Hytonic+ @3 ml/lit to provide nutrients to the damaged crop. 4. The farmer got very good results as the damage by the pest was reduced to 5% only and due to nutrient supplements (Hytonic+), the crop recovered fast and the farmer observed that the root development was good.
