Subsidy for sugarcane nursery
By using the improved technology developed by agriculture universities, if the sugarcane saplings are created in a bag, using one bud seed setts, then the farm becomes available to other crops for 1.5 to 2 months. The saplings, thus prepared in the nursery are healthy and have vigorous growth, hence the production certainly increases. So, the state government has decided to implement this scheme under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana. Where to get seedlings from - The farmers need to get seeds of improved varieties from agriculture universities, sugarcane research center, Padegaon or Vasantdada sugar institute and create a seedling farm. Eligibility for beneficiary - The farmer who wishes to get benefit from this scheme should be graduate in agriculture or should be a farmer experienced in sugarcane farming.
Subsidy - The expense for required equipment and machinery is considered to be Rs.2 lakhs 50 thousand under this scheme. The beneficiaries are given 50% subsidy under the scheme.
