Skymet Anticipates no Chances of Drought
New Delhi: In many places in the country, there was a severe water shortage due to the delay in monsoon in the previous year. However, Skymet has anticipated that the monsoon will remain fairly normal this year, which means that there is no chance of drought. According to Jatin Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Skymet, the monsoon shower is expected to be 96 to 104% of the rainfall. The monsoon is
expected to be on average, and perhaps more than 50% this year. In addition, the revised monsoon estimates will be announced in April.
