If you store harvested cotton in room located on your farm, you encourage the pink bollworm to grow. Recently picked of cotton will have the larvae of pink bollworm and emerging moths are likely to go back to the cotton field. Therefore, it is wise to sell directly in the market if there is a good price. If immediate sale is not possible, store the cotton in the home store and keep the doors/ windows closed. Be sure to set up one pheromone trap in the storage to catch up the emerging moths.
