This larva is known as Epilachna beetle which damaging to cucurbits crops like bitter gaurd, smooth gaurd, ridge gaurd etc. It scraps and feed on the leaves. Its adult stage is also damaging to these cucurbitaceous crops. Take appropriate control measures under high population.
