Caterpillar of this insect is too large and green in coloured. Caterpillar defoliates the plants leaving behind the veins very fast due to its voracious feeding. Collect & destroy on having fewer populations, install one light trap and spray any neem based pesticides on initiation of the pest. As the larvae are too large, insecticidal spray may not give satisfactory result. The adult of this insect suck the honey from bee hives.
