New Delhi: Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has sanctioned a fund of Rs. 2,790 crores under the special finance scheme for sugar factories to increase ethanol production capacity. Under this scheme, the interest subsidy of Rs 12,900 crores is being provided to the sugar factories by the banks.
