This pest is different from insects as it has four pairs of legs. It damages the underside of the leaf by forming tiny webs. Rose cultivating in green house is more prone to this insects compared to open cultivation. If proper cares not taken of, mites infestation can be seen in explosive form. On initiation of mites, spray abamectin 1.9 EC @ 3 ml or flufenoxuron 10 DC @ 10 ml or milbemectin 1 EC @ 4 ml per 10 lit of water.
