Recently, this moth have been found and increasing in cotton, know more about it !
These are the fruit sucking moths generally damaging to fruit crops. But since last 4-5 years, it observed in cotton crop and sucks the juice from the developing bolls by making hole on it. Rotting take place due to entry of the microorganism from this hole. Install one light trap in the field and also use poison bait (1 kg jaggary + vinegar or fruit juice 60 ml + DDVP 76 EC 50 ml + water 10 lit). Take 500 ml solution in bowl and keep about 40-50 bowls per hectare for effective control.
