Production of Horticultural Crops to Increase

As fruit and spice production is anticipated to boost, fruit crop production is estimated at 314.87 million tonnes in 2018-19. According to the Central Agricultural Department, this will be the highest ever.

Despite less rain in the nation, 311.71 million tonnes of horticultural plants have been generated. The updated estimate for this year is anticipated to be 97.38 million tonnes, according to the Agriculture Department. The first estimate was said to be 96.75 million tonnes. The projected first spice production is estimated at 8.61 million tonnes. The revised estimate was 8.59 million tonnes.
