New Delhi. The Central Government has planned to give the loan for farming to all the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. Therefore, no farmer will suffer due to lack of money. According to Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary, 2.5 crore farmers will be provided a loan of Rs 2 lakh crore through Kisan Credit Card. This money will be given to the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana. It will also benefit the farmers who depend on animal husbandry and fisheries. Chaudhary informed that from March 1 till now, 3 crore farmers of the country have been given an agricultural loan of Rs. 4.22 lakh crore. Not only this, 25 lakh new farmers associated with PM Kisan Scheme have been issued credit cards. Its limit is 25 thousand crores. Difference between the beneficiaries of both the schemes On the other hand, Vivek Aggarwal, CEO of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme said that there is a difference of 2.5 to 3 crores between the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Scheme and KCC. In the special campaign launched from 24 February, 75 lakh applications were received, out of which in-principle approval has been given for making cards for 45 lakh people. 15 lakh crore agricultural loan plan In fact, the government's goal is to provide loans to all farmers associated with the PM farmer to pursue farming at a cheaper rate. Therefore, a plan has been made to distribute a record Rs 15 lakh crore of agricultural credit in this budget. KCC: Cheapest Loan The loan interest on Kisan Credit Card is 4 percent. Farmers can avail loans up to Rs 1.60 lakh without security at an interest rate of 4 per cent. On timely repayment, the loan amount can be increased to Rs 3 lakh.
