Phase II of the PM PM Farmers' Honor Fund
New Delhi: The Union Government has launched the second phase of the 'Prime Minister's Farmer's Honor Fund' (PM-Kisan) scheme. The fourth instalment of the scheme is being sent in this phase. Three instalments of Rs. 2,000 have been given after the scheme was announced in December 2018. The fourth instalment has also been deposited in the accounts of 2 crore 73 lakh farmers, officials of the Union Agriculture Ministry said. Some farmers have been sceptical about the scheme, saying that the scheme will be closed within a year. But the government has sent this money for the second year, so the farmers will benefit from this scheme.

Since the inception of the scheme, the fourth instalment has started to be deposited in the direct account of the farmers.
