Paecilomyces Lilacinus
Paecilomyces lilacinus is a naturally occurring fungus in various soil types. The fungus survives at a temperature of 21-32 degrees Celsius; where the soil temperature exceeds 36 degrees Celsius it cannot survive. The fungus affects nematodes at all stages of the life cycle.
Crops - Potatoes, chillies, tomatoes, cucumbers, flowers, etc.
Targeted Pest- Parasitic nematodes for example, root knot nematode, cyst nematode, reniform nematode. Method of use: Mix 1 kg of fungal-based powder (Paecilomyces lilacinus) in 200 litres of water and drench the solution in one acre. Dose: Mix 2 kg of fungal-based powder (Paecilomyces lilacinus) with well-decomposed farm yard manure and give through the soil for one acre land.
