Pune: The central government has launched a move to approve e-marketing to boost the sales of fertilizers. The country's fertilizer control law will also be reviewed for online fertilizer sales. For this purpose, a committee appointed by the Union Ministry of Agriculture to determine the e-marketing policy of fertilizers includes the chairperson of the Ministry of Fertilizers, Fertilizers Association and the All India Fertilizer Dealers Association. The Union Agriculture Ministry has said, "How can this committee bring the country's fertilizer sales system into e-marketing?" It has also been advised to study what changes can be made in the fertilizer control order. " The fertilizer sales system directly affects farmers' agricultural planning. Farmers face financial scarcity due to defects in sales practices, lack of timely fertilizer availability and no improvement in sales system year after year.
