Some farmer’s do not uprooting the cotton sticks after over the last picking and using them as support for the cucurbits cultivation. Doing so, the life cycle of the pink bollworm larvae present in the immature or unopened cotton bolls is continue which poses a threat to next year’s cotton. That is why after the last picking, remove the cotton sticks and make good use of them.
