The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has sanctioned a fund of Rs 5000 crore for arranging cash to farmers across the country for Kharif farming. 5000 thousand crore rupees will be disbursed across the country to farmers through cooperative banks, rural banks, micro finance institutions and NBFCs. NABARD has just released 276 crores in the Kharif season. NABARD has sanctioned 5000 thousand crore rupees for the lack of cash for farming in the Kharif season. This amount will be disbursed through various financial institutions in the form of loans to farmers across the country. 2 lakh crore rupees will be spent to give farmer credit in the country. This will benefit 2.5 crore farmers across the country. As a loan, an amount of Rs. 5000 thousand crores will go to the entire country farmers through NABARD, so they will get special help in cultivating Kharif crops.
