Mango gall-midge:
Adult fly lays eggs in the leaf tissues. The emerging maggots feed inside the leaf. Due to the feeding small several wart-like galls are appeared on the leaves. The galls look like pimples on the leaves. Under higher incidence, leaves curled and ultimately fall down. The infestation enhances the anthracnose disease in mango. If damage is more, spray monocrotophos 36 WSC @ 10 ml per 10 lit of water.
