Management of sucking pests in okra
In order to control sucking pests, in the initial stage of transplantation neem oil in 300 ppm 75 ml per 15 liter of water or Verticillium lecanii 75 grams per 15 liters of water should be dissolved and sprayed. If there is a severe attack of sucking pests, Imidacloprid 17.8% SL 5 ml or Thiomethoxam 25% WG 5 grams should be dissolved in 15 liters of water and sprayed. Insecticides should be sprayed alternately at intervals of 10 to 15 days. Also apply 10 blue sticky traps and 10 yellow sticky traps per acre rate.
