After becoming super powerful, Hurricane Amphan is now weakening. However, it is still in the category of extremely severe cyclones. Amphan is continuously moving in the north and north eastern direction of Bay of Bengal. It is estimated that it can make landside in Digha and adjoining Sundarbans Delta and Bangladesh in West Bengal this evening. There is a possibility of winds and heavy rains at a speed of 100 to 150 kilometers per hour in the coastal parts. Rain forecast in Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh as well.
