The infestation is generally remaining higher during August to October in groundnut grown in monsoon. Small larvae feed on emerging leaves and advance larvae, web the leaflet together and feed inside remaining within the fold. On higher infestation, spray deltamethrin 2.8 EC @ 10 ml or lambda cyhelothrin 5 EC @ 5 ml or quinalphos 25 EC @ 20 ml per 10 lit of water.
