Caterpillars emerged out from the egg mass, scrap the epidermal layer of leaves and later on defoliate the plants very quickly. On initiation, spray Bacillus thuringiensis, bacterial powder @ 10 g and having higher population, spray chlorfluazuron 5.4 EC @ 10 ml or cyantraniliprole 10 OD @ 10 ml per 10 lit of water.
