Tur price is likely to trade up despite a bumper production in the last kharif season and a good production in Burma this year.
As prices were ruling lower than MSP, govt. imposed 10 % duty on import and tried to support the market. Imposition of this duty would jack up Tur prices by Rs 450 to Rs 500 per qtl. in the coming months.
Currently, Tur is being traded at Rs 4500/4550 pe
