It popularly known as ‘broomrape’ and it’s a parasitic plant. It takes nutrients and food from the roots of brinjal and damages the crop. There is no any chemical available to control it. Periodically remove from the field and destroy them. Do not give these uprooted parasitic plants to the milking cattle and do not dump them in manure pits.
