Khadi and Village Industries Commission to launch Honey Cube
New Delhi: Khadi Gramodyog Commission is going to launch honey cube. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari gave this information. Admitting that there is poverty and unemployment in the rural areas of the country, he said that the government is making efforts to promote rural industries.
Gadkari said that Khadi Gramodyog Commission is going to launch honey cube in the next few months as part of many such efforts. It can be used instead of sugar. Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Nitin Gadkari told the Lok Sabha that the government is forming clusters of honey and work is being done to make cube like sugar with high quality honey. In response to supplementary question of Sunil Kumar Pintu, he said that Khadi Gramodyog will start selling honey cube in the next few months. Gadkari said that within the next six months, people will be able to drink tea by adding cube of honey instead of sugar cube. He told that the Ministry of MSME is going to start a new e-commerce portal named 'Bharat Craft'. It is planned to run in association with State Bank of India. Gadkari told that all the products of MSME will be available for sale on this portal. Through this portal, shawls of Kashmir can be purchased sitting in New York.
