For planting of one-acre area of Onion, the nursery should sow in two-guntha area of farm and 2-3 kg of seeds are required for nursery sowing. Before sowing, seeds should be treated with Carbendazim @ 2-2.5 gm/kg of seeds to protect the crop from soil borne diseases like rotting and wilting.
