India has increased import duty on gram,Pigeon Pea from USA.
As USA has increased import duty on some goods being imported from India, India has given tit for tat answer to it.India has increased import duty on chick peas, gram and pigeon pea being imported from USA. The import
duty on chick peas, gram has been increased to 70% now and import duty on pigeon pea has been increased to 40%.The revised rates will be applicable from 4th August.
