As a result of thrips' feeding, brownish spots appear on the leaves and the flower setting is hampered. Cut down the 5 to 6 cm twigs with the buds infested by the plants and destroy them. Apply neem oil @50 ml or ready to use neem derived formulation @20 ml (1% EC) to 40 ml (0.15% EC) per 10 litres of water on a regular basis.
