IFFCO reduces price of non-urea fertilizer by Rs 50 per bag
New Delhi. IFFCO, a leading fertilizer co-operative organization, has announced to reduce the retail price of urea fertilizers non-di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) including other by Rs 50 per bag. IFFCO Managing Director US Awasthi said that the revised prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Awasthi said that with the reduction in global prices of raw materials and manufactured fertilizers, we have cut the price of non-urea fertilizers. Sowing of kharif crops will begin in the current month, and farmers will benefit from price cuts. The new price of IFFCO's DAP will now be Rs 1,200 per 50 kg bag, which was earlier Rs 1,250. The price of NPK-10 complex will be reduced to Rs 1,175 per bag, which was earlier 1225. The price of NPK-12 complex will be reduced to Rs 1,185 per bag, which was earlier 1235. The retail price of NP complex has been reduced by Rs 50 to Rs 975 per bag. New retail price of DAP and Complex fertilizers, including GST, has come into effect from October 2019. The price of neem coated urea will remain the same at Rs. 266.50/45 kg. Its price is controlled by the government.
