How you can identify damage caused by fruit sucking moth in lemon fruits
Caterpillars of this moth survive on weed host plants near fencing and boundaries of orchard. The moths are bigger in sized and orange-brownish in coloured. Moth inserts its mouth parts in fruits and sucks the juice. One or more pin holes are seen on the fruits. Due to entry of microbes through these holes, fruits are rotten up. If you dissect the fruits, no any larvae were seen in-side. Take appropriate control measures.
