Have you ever seen the eggs of spiders on crop plants?
Spider is also known as “Universal Predator” as it feeding on several types of insects pests in various crop plants. The spider lays eggs in silken bag made by it and can be sticking to any part of the crop plant. These egg bags can be of different colours depending on the species of spider. One bag contains more than 100 eggs. There are many species and large numbers of spiders are found in paddy crop. It has four pairs of legs i.e. a total of eight legs. It’s our duty to protect them.
