Both nymphs & adults feed on green parts of the leaves as a result white patches are found parallel to the middle vein of the leaf. The leaves turn white and dry out. Infestation starts from the corner of the field where water is accumulated and spreads inward. In case of higher infestation, spray imidacloprid 6% + lambda cyhalothrin 4% SL @ 10 ml per 10 lit of water.
