This is one type of fungus known as Lichen. It generally not observed in well maintain orchards. It may found in the orchards which not properly maintains and neglected in taking cares. Often such lichens are not harmful to the trees. Sometimes, yellow lichens can be harmful to mankind. If growth of this kind of fungus is excessive, spray any copper base fungicides.
