Hairy caterpillars in maize
After the first monsoon rains and about one week after germination of the crop, the incidence of hairy caterpillar is generally seen. More infestation often leads to re-sowing of maize. For the control, install one light trap in the field, make a trench around the field to prevent the entry of pest from the boundaries and spray neem base pesticide.
