Now-a-days, infestation of this pest increased in guava orchard. Pick up the fruits before reaching to the ripening stage. Collect & destroy the fallen fruits periodically. Repeatedly apply poison bait (1 kg jaggary + Vinegar or fruit juice 60 ml + 50 ml DDVP 76 EC, if it is not available, take quinalphos 25 EC instead of it + 10 lit of water). Take 500 solution in wide mouth bowl and place them about 40-50 places per hectare to manage these fruit sucking moths effectively.
