He further added that we need to consider changing the crops, value added food processing, good marketing system and change eating habits. Along with crop diversification, horticulture, sericulture, poultry, dairy farming etc., supplementary businesses should be taken up. For development of agriculture a comprehensive approach is needed. Technology should be used more by working with farmers. This will help to increase the productivity of crops.
