Generally at the age of 10-15 days, the crop is being affected by these caterpillars. Occasionally, whole crop may be divested due to this pest. As a precaution, give the seed treatment with cyantraniliprole 19.8% + thiamethoxam 19.8% FS @ 6 ml per kg of seed before sowing. Doing so can largely we can prevent the crop damage and manage the pest with low cost protection.
