The northern boundary of the monsoon is in Barmer, Jodhpur, Sikar, Rohtak, Chandigarh, Una, Amritsar, Churu, Kapurthala and Ludhiana. There is a low-pressure area in the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh and parts of Bihar adjacent to it. In the next 24 hours, monsoon is expected to stay strong in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya; and is likely to be normal in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. While the monsoon will be lethargic in northern parts of Punjab, eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh, and parts of Tamil Nadu, dry weather will continue at most places in Haryana, many parts of Punjab, and Delhi.
