Diamondback moth in cabbage & cauliflower
The infestation of this pest is generally started at 15-20 days after transplanting the crop. The farmers who have planted mustard or cress (asaliyo) as trap crop around the field boundaries are less prone to this pest. The larvae make numerous holes on plants by feeding and doing serious damage. On initiation, spray chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC @ 3 ml or emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 3 g or metaflumizone 22 SC @ 10 ml per 10 lit of water.
