In the early stage of the outbreak of fruit and shoot borer insect, spray 10000 PPM Neem oil 500 ml per acre by dissolving it in 200 liters of water or Bacillus thuringiensis 400 gm per acre by dissolving in 200 liters of water or Beauveria bassiana 1% W/1 Kg per acre dissolving in 200 litres of water in the interval of 8 to 10 days. When the infestation appears heavy, spray emamectin benzoate 5% SG 100 gm per acre by dissolving it in 200 litres of water or chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SG 60 ml per litre by dissolving in 200 litres of water. Spray the pesticides alternatively in 10 to 15 days interval.
