It is estimated that the production of cluster bean seeds in Rajasthan, the largest producer in the country, will increase. The production of cluster bean seeds in the current Kharif season is estimated at 17.22 lakh tonnes, compared to 16.03 lakh tonnes in the previous year. The second advance estimate released by the State Directorate of Agriculture yielded 471 kg per hectare of cluster bean seeds in the current Kharif. Last year, the production of cluster bean seeds in the state was only 12.44 lakh tonnes, whereas last year the yield of hectares was only 363 kg per hectare. In Rajasthan, the sowing of cluster beans is 30.87.761 hectares in the current year, whereas last year it was sown in 34.32.293 hectares.
