Sometimes and under favourable environment, these insects known as Chafer beetle can damage to cotton crop. The incidence seems to be increasing for the last 3-4 years. This pest is cause damage by feeding pollen from cotton flowers. Seed production can be hit economically if this pest is present, especially in seed production plots. If incidence of such pest is high, control measures must be taken.
