The application may be submitted until 9 February, 2019, in the Mega Food Park. The centre provides the subsidy in this scheme. As a result, 50% of the total cost is subsidized, which can be up to 50 crore rupees maximum. If the project cost is 100 crores, the government will provide a subsidy of 50 crores.
Mega Food Park aims to bring together farmers, processors, and retailers to create a system for connecting agricultural products to the market. Its objective is to increase the prices of agricultural products, reduce the waste of foodstuffs, increase farmers ' incomes, and create jobs in rural areas.
